OAGF begins February salaries, cites system glitch

The Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF) has commenced payment of February 2026 salaries to Federal Government treasury-funded workers after a delay attributed to a technical glitch.

Disbursements began on Monday, March 2, 2026, according to a statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations of the OAGF, Bawa Mokwa.

The Office said the disruption, which affected the timely release of February salaries, has been resolved, adding that safeguards have been introduced to prevent a recurrence.

The OAGF further disclosed that it has received the required approval and concluded payment of one month wage award arrears out of the three months outstanding.
