Winners emerge in Nigeria’s N20mn AfCFTA Hackathon

The organisers of the AfCFTA Hackathon 2025 have announced the winners in the three-day event that held in Lagos.

The AfCFTA Hackathon held on the side of Science of Trade (SOT) Conference 2025 organised by the Nigeria AfCFTA Coordination Office in partnership with Ascend Studios Foundation, Cherith-Code Concept, NITDA, GFA Technologies, Amazon Web Services and others as part of the SOT Conference 2025—an annual tech and digital ecosystem event.

Announcing the winners, the organisers on Saturday said: “Today, we bring the curtains down on what has been a historic and inspiring journey of the first AfCFTA Hackathon* in Africa, initiated by the Nigeria AfCFTA Coordination Office during the Science of Trade Conference 2025

“Over the past 3 days, 60 remarkable teams put together groundbreaking ideas to drive intra-African trade, digital commerce, and cross-border innovation. From concept to pitch, your brilliance has lit the path to a prosperous Africa. And now, we are thrilled to announce our top 3 winners!”
