The students, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli, stunned the world with their brilliance, outperforming thousands of international contestants in English language skills and debate.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the trio as “inspiring ambassadors of Nigeria’s academic excellence.”

Seventeen-year-old Nafisa won Overall Best in English Language Skills, 15-year-old Rukayya clinched Overall Best in Debate, while Hadiza earned the Outstanding Talent Gold Award.

He also noted that their success reflects the extraordinary potential of Nigerian youth when given the right support and opportunities.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening access to quality education, citing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as a key part of that mission.

“These young stars have proven that Nigeria can compete and win globally in academics and their victory reminds us that investing in education is not an option rather, it is the foundation for national transformation.”Tinubu said.

The President urged the champions to keep striving for excellence and promised continued government support as they pursue greater heights.
