The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has cautioned Nigerians against a fraudulent recruitment advertisement circulating online, warning that the notice was not issued by the Commission and should be disregarded.
In a statement issued on Thursday, NAICOM said the advertisement did not originate from the Commission and that no recruitment exercise had been authorized through the platform referenced in the notice or any other unofficial channel.
The Commission urged members of the public not to submit personal information or make payments in response to the fraudulent advertisement.
NAICOM advised job seekers to obtain information on employment opportunities and other activities only through its official website and recognized government communication channels.

The regulator reiterated that it does not conduct recruitment exercises through unverified online links and would always announce legitimate vacancies through authorized platforms.
It also warned that those behind the circulation of the fake recruitment notice were engaging in illegal activities and could face legal action.
The Commission called on the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious recruitment claims to relevant authorities.
