Waziri mourns death of business tycoon Alhaji Aminu Dantata
Ambassador Mustapha Shehu, the Wazirin Sarkin Fulani Danbatta, has described the passing of nonagenarian business tycoon Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata as an irreplaceable loss to Kano State and Nigeria, citing his immense contributions to peacebuilding and humanitarian efforts across the country and beyond.
He noted that the late Alhaji Dantata was an unmatched philanthropist in Kano, known for his generous donations to charitable causes and social protection programs for the less privileged.

“Alhaji Dantata was a legendary humanitarian,” Ambassador Mustapha said. “He uplifted the underprivileged, promoted peace, and supported education, healthcare, and community development.”
Waziri also extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Emir of Kano, and the people of Kano State.
He prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants the late business magnate Aljannah Firdaus and gives his loved ones the strength to bear the loss.
